Ahegao (あ へ が お), read as A-he-gao, is a facial expression commonly seen in Manga / Anime comics. This face is drawn with round eyes, mouth open, tongue out, cheeks red and wet (due to the effect of sweat, saliva).
Origin
Ahegao is a compound word from Gao and Ahe. In which, ‘Gao’ is an instant reading of the word Kao which means face. The word ‘Ahe’ is an acronym for the onomatopoeia Aheahe (ア ヘ ア ヘ), describing the erotic sound of women at ‘peak’.
